Battery & Charger Kit for Sony Camcorders

This kit includes one 7.2 V lithium-ion battery rated at 1550 mAh (11.16 Wh) and a dual-slot USB charger. It replaces Sony NP-FV50, NP-FV70, NP-FV70A and NP-FV100 cells and works with many Handycam and Action Cam models listed by the supplier. The charger accepts Micro-USB or USB-C input and can charge two batteries simultaneously.

Practical Limits of the USB Charger

The charger draws 5 V at 2–3 A (15 W) and delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA per slot whether one or two batteries are fitted. It cannot charge faster than this fixed current, so a fully depleted 1550 mAh cell will need roughly two hours. No AC adapter is included; you must supply a USB power source capable of 15 W.

What to Check Before Ordering

Confirm your camcorder uses an NP-FV series battery and that you have a 5 V USB charger or power bank able to provide at least 2 A.
