Dual-bay charger with LCD status, Micro-USB and Type-C inputs, powers two Sony NP-FV series batteries simultaneously
The Kastar NP-FV50 LTD2 is a dual-bay charger that powers two Sony NP-FV series lithium-ion batteries simultaneously. It accepts Micro-USB or USB-C input at five volts and two to three amps, delivering 8.4 volts at 800 milliamps per bay. An integrated LCD panel shows real-time charging status and remaining capacity for each cell. The unit ships with a Micro-USB cable and measures five by three by one inch.
This charger suits creators who carry multiple NP-FV50, NP-FV70, NP-FV70A or NP-FV100 packs and want to top them up from any USB power source. It replaces the original Sony BC-TRV, BC-VH1 or AC-VQH10 docks while adding dual-slot convenience. Shooters who rely on V-mount blocks, BP-U series cells or proprietary mirrorless batteries cannot use this device.
The defining spec is the ability to charge two NP-FV type batteries at once from a single USB connection. If your workflow only ever requires one spare pack, a single-bay adapter will be smaller and cheaper. If you routinely cycle through two or more packs on location, the twin-bay design cuts total wall time in half.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the dual-plate design charges two NP-FV50, NP-FV70, NP-FV70A or NP-FV100 batteries simultaneously, with independent 8.4V 800mA outputs per slot.
The built-in LCD shows real-time charging status and capacity percentage for both slots, so you can verify each battery is receiving the proper current.
Only a Micro-USB cable is included; you must provide a 5V 2-3A USB power adapter or a compatible USB-C power source to reach the 15W input rating.
