Two NP-FW50 Batteries & Wall Charger

This set includes two lithium-ion batteries and an AC wall charger for Sony mirrorless and Cyber-shot cameras. Each cell delivers 7.4 V and 1650 mAh for 11.8 Wh of capacity. The charger accepts 100–240 V input and has a foldable flat plug for compact storage.

Fits Alpha 6000/6100/6300/6400/6500 and A7 series

Owners of ILCE-6000, ILCE-6100, ILCE-6300, ILCE-6400, ILCE-6500, ILCE-7 and ILCE-7M2 bodies can use both batteries and the charger. Users of cameras that require a different battery form factor or a higher-voltage charger should look elsewhere.

11.8 Wh capacity per cell

Each NP-FW50 battery stores 11.8 Wh, which determines how many shots or minutes of video you get before swapping. Buyers who need more storage per battery must choose a different chemistry or form factor.

Questions about this item

What cameras fit the NP-FW50 batteries in this pack?

The batteries fit Sony ILCE-6300, ILCE-6400, ILCE-6500, ILCE-7, ILCE-7M2, and many NEX and Alpha models listed in the compatibility chart.

How do I charge the batteries using the wall charger?

Fold out the flat plug, insert it into a 100-240V AC outlet, place one or two batteries in the slots, and wait for the LED to turn green.

When should I replace the NP-FW50 batteries?

Replace them when they no longer hold a useful charge — each cell is rated at 1650mAh and 11.8Wh, so runtime will drop noticeably as the lithium-ion cells age.
