Three 1650mAh 7.2V lithium-ion batteries and a dual-slot USB charger with LCD status display
This set provides three 1650 mAh lithium-ion batteries rated at 7.2 V and 11.8 Wh each, plus an LTD2 charger that powers two cells simultaneously. It is aimed at photographers using compatible Sony Alpha and Cyber-shot bodies who need reliable spare power for long shooting days.
The bundle swaps out individual NP-FW50 packs and the original BC-VW1 or BC-TRW chargers for a combined kit that fills two batteries at once from any 5 V 2–3 A USB source. The jump is worth it when you regularly deplete multiple cells on a trip and want to recharge both overnight without hunting for wall outlets.
The charger draws 15 W maximum through either Micro-USB or USB-C, delivering 8.4 V at 800 mA per slot, so charge speed is capped by the USB power brick you supply. It cannot operate from higher-voltage PD profiles, and the fixed plates only accept NP-FW50 type cells, so other battery formats are not supported.

The combined pack measures 5 by 3 by 3 inches, so check your bag or case for that footprint before buying.
Connect a 5 V 2–3 A source to either the Micro-USB or Type-C port; the step many miss is using a supply that can deliver the full 15 W so both batteries charge at 800 mA each.
Replace them when they no longer hold a useful portion of their 1650 mAh / 11.8 Wh capacity or when the charger’s LCD shows a fault code during the 8.4 V charge cycle.
