Kastar NP-FW50 4-Pack Kit

This kit supplies four lithium-ion NP-FW50 batteries and a foldable-plug AC wall charger. It targets Sony mirrorless and compact camera owners who need multiple spare cells for long shooting days or travel. Each battery is rated at 7.4 V and 1650 mAh for 11.8 Wh capacity. The charger accepts 100–240 V input for worldwide use.

Sustained multi-battery charging

The charger delivers a steady 8.4 V 600 mA output to each slot, so four depleted packs recharge in sequence without thermal throttling. Red and green LEDs show charge state at a glance, letting you rotate cells through a full day of continuous capture. Fold-flat pins keep the unit compact inside a gear bag during extended location work.

Compatibility check before ordering

Verify that your camera appears in the supported model list covering Alpha 3000, 5000, 5100, 6000, 6100, 6300, 6400, 6500, 7 series, NEX models, Cyber-shot RX10 series, ZV-E10 and VG-C grips. The kit replaces Sony NP-FW50, W-Series, BC-VW1 and BC-TRW items only. Buyers needing higher-capacity cells or USB-C charging should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 7.4 V 1650 mAh NP-FW50 pack get hot during all-day shooting?

The lithium-ion cells run at 7.4 V and 1650 mAh; normal use stays within safe temperature limits, and the charger’s LED shows red while charging then green when full.

What camera body do I already need to use these NP-FW50 batteries?

Any Sony body that accepts the NP-FW50 — for example the a6000, a6100, a6400, a6500, A7 series, NEX series, RX10 series or ZV-E10 — will take these batteries directly.

Will the 8.4 V 600 mA charger still work with my older Sony BC-VW1 or BC-TRW chargers?

Yes, the pack is compatible with the original BC-VW1 and BC-TRW chargers, so you can keep using the older wall units alongside the new foldable-plug charger.
