Four-battery kit with foldable wall charger

This pack supplies four lithium-ion NP-FW50 cells rated at 7.4 V and 1650 mAh, plus an AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug. It is aimed at photographers using compatible Sony mirrorless, Cyber-shot or NEX cameras who need spare power for long shooting sessions.

Charger limited to 600 mA output per slot

The included charger accepts 100–240 V AC input and delivers 8.4 V at 600 mA DC, so each battery charges at a modest rate. LED indicators show red while charging and green when the cell reaches full charge or standby.

Verify your camera uses the NP-FW50 form factor

Before ordering, confirm that your Sony body or grip lists NP-FW50, W-Series or the original BC-VW1/BC-TRW chargers as compatible. Cameras or grips requiring a different battery shape or voltage will not work with this set.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the single charger and the four-battery pack?

The pack supplies one AC wall charger plus four NP-FW50 lithium-ion batteries, each rated 1650 mAh at 7.4 V, so you get four full spares from a single wall outlet.

What does the 11.8 Wh rating mean when I am shooting with my Alpha 6000?

Each 11.8 Wh cell delivers roughly the same run-time as the original Sony NP-FW50, giving you several hundred shots per charge on an Alpha 6000 or similar E-mount body.

What does the charger's 8.4 V 600 mA output cap in practice?

The wall charger accepts 100–240 V AC and outputs 8.4 V DC at 600 mA, so it fully recharges one NP-FW50 cell at a time; the red LED shows charging and green shows standby or full charge.
