Two NP-FZ100 batteries and wall charger

This kit supplies two 7.2 V lithium-ion batteries rated at 2280 mAh (16.4 Wh) plus an AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug. It is built for photographers and videographers using Sony Alpha and Cinema cameras that accept the NP-FZ100 cell.

Check camera model and original charger

Verify that your camera appears in the compatibility list covering Alpha 9 series, Alpha 1, Alpha 7 III, 7 IV, 7R III, 7R IV, 7R V, 7C, A6600, FX3 and FX30 bodies. Also confirm you currently charge with a Sony BC-QZ1 or NPA-MQZ1K charger so the replacement matches the original specification.

Foldable plug and dual LED status

The wall charger accepts 100–240 V AC input and delivers 8.4 V at 600 mA to each cell. A red LED shows charging while a green LED signals standby or full charge, and the foldable pins reduce bulk when the unit is packed.

Questions about this item

Does the kit include both batteries and the wall charger, or must the charger be purchased separately?

The kit contains one AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug and two NP-FZ100 lithium-ion batteries, so nothing extra is required to start charging.

Should I choose the 2280 mAh batteries in this kit or look for a higher-capacity version?

Each battery in this kit is rated at 2280 mAh (16.4 Wh) at 7.2 V, matching the original NP-FZ100 specification for compatible Alpha cameras.

What does the 600 mA charger output mean for actual recharge time in my camera bag?

The charger delivers 8.4 V at 600 mA from a 100–240 V AC source; a fully depleted 2280 mAh cell will take roughly four hours to reach the green LED indication.
