Two-pack replacement for Sony NP-FZ100

This two-pack supplies two 7.2 V lithium-ion cells rated at 2280 mAh and 16.4 Wh each. They fit the Sony NP-FZ100 form factor and work with the BC-QZ1 and NPA-MQZ1K chargers as well as the VG-C3EM grip. The cells carry UL 1642 and CE safety marks and include built-in over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current and over-heating protection.

Single-slot chargers and cameras without USB-PD

The batteries charge through the original BC-QZ1 or NPA-MQZ1K dock, which replenishes one cell at a time. Cameras that rely solely on USB Power Delivery cannot charge these packs in-body, so a separate charger is required for uninterrupted shooting. Runtime scales with the 16.4 Wh rating; extended video sessions will still need spare packs or a mains-powered grip.

Replaces first-party NP-FZ100 packs

These cells replace the Sony NP-FZ100 battery used in Alpha 1, Alpha 9 series, Alpha 7R V, Alpha 7R IV, Alpha 7R III, Alpha 7 IV, Alpha 7 III, Alpha 7C, Alpha 6600, FX3 and FX30 bodies. The jump is worthwhile when the original pack no longer holds a full day’s charge or when a second slot in the VG-C3EM grip needs filling.
