The Kastar kit includes one NP-FZ100 replacement battery and an LTD2 dual-slot USB charger. It is aimed at photographers and videographers who use Sony Alpha series bodies such as the A7 III, A7 IV, A7R IV, A7R V, A9 II, A1, FX3 or FX30 and want a spare power source with flexible charging.

Dual USB inputs with 800 mA per slot

The charger accepts power through Micro-USB or USB-C at 5 V, 2–3 A (15 W maximum). Each of the two independent slots delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA, so charging two batteries together splits the available input current. A Micro-USB cable is supplied; a USB-C cable and a high-current USB power adapter are not included.

2280 mAh capacity for extended shooting

The lithium-ion cell stores 16.4 Wh (2280 mAh at 7.2 V), matching the original Sony NP-FZ100 rating. One battery comfortably covers a day of stills or several hours of 4K video on compatible bodies. Intensive continuous recording, cold weather or heavy IBIS use will drain it faster, requiring the second slot or a power bank for uninterrupted operation.
