Kastar NP-FZ100PRO USB-C rechargeable battery

This Kastar NP-FZ100PRO is a lithium-ion camera battery built for Sony Alpha mirrorless bodies and cinema cameras. It replaces the Sony NP-FZ100 and works with the BC-QZ1, NPA-MQZ1K chargers and VG-C3EM grip. The cell delivers 7.2 V and 2280 mAh in a single pack.

USB-C charging with LED status indicator

The battery charges directly from any 5 V 2 A USB-C source without a dedicated charger. A built-in LED shows red while charging and green when full. The pack includes over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current and over-heating protection circuits that meet UL1642 and CE safety standards.

Suits shooters who want on-the-go USB-C top-ups

Photographers and videographers using compatible Sony Alpha, FX or ZV-E1 bodies can recharge from power banks or wall adapters. Buyers who need higher capacity than 16.4 Wh or a multi-bay charger solution should look at something else.
