Replacement Battery for Panasonic DECT Handsets

The Kastar PS-42B is a lithium-ion battery rated at 3.7V and 1400mAh with a capacity of 5.18 Wh. It replaces Panasonic part numbers N4FUYYYY0018, N4FUYYYY0019, N4FUYYYY0046 and N4FUYYYY0047. The pack includes one battery and a matching AC wall charger for immediate use.

Foldable-Plug Wall Charger for 100-240V Mains

The included charger accepts AC 100 to 240V at 50 to 60Hz and delivers DC 4.2V at 600mA. A foldable flat plug reduces bulk during storage or travel. An LED shows red while charging and turns green when the battery reaches full charge or sits on standby.

Compatible Handset Range and Build Considerations

This set fits Panasonic KX-TCA285, KX-TCA385, KX-UDT121, KX-UDT131, Attune II HD3, WX-CH455, WX-SB100, WX-ST100 and WX-ST300 handsets. It does not support handsets that require a different voltage, connector or form factor. Buyers needing a multi-bay charger or a higher-capacity cell should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the PS-42B battery pack fit the Panasonic KX-TCA285 handset battery compartment?

The PS-42B is a direct replacement for Panasonic part numbers N4FUYYYY0018, N4FUYYYY0019, N4FUYYYY0046 and N4FUYYYY0047 used in the KX-TCA285 and other listed DECT handsets.

How do I install the PS-42B charger and battery, and what step is often missed?

Insert the battery into the handset, then plug the charger’s foldable flat pins into a 100-240V AC outlet; the red LED shows charging and green shows full charge — users often forget to unfold the pins fully before plugging in.

When will the PS-42B lithium-ion battery need replacing?

The 3.7V 1400mAh lithium-ion cell should be replaced when talk time drops noticeably or the handset no longer holds a full charge from the 4.2V 600mA charger.
