Three-battery pack for JVC camcorders

This set supplies three 7.4 V lithium-ion cells rated at 7800 mAh each and a matching AC wall charger. It fits JVC GY-LS300, GY-HM200, GY-HM250, GY-HM600 and GY-HM650 series cameras that use SSL-JVC50, SSL-JVC70, SSL-JVC75 or BN-S8I50 batteries.

Sustained shooting with 57.7 Wh cells

Each battery stores 57.7 Wh and the charger delivers 8.4 V at 600 mA from a 100-240 V supply. The modest charge current means a full cycle takes several hours, so the pack suits productions that can rotate cells between takes rather than demand rapid top-ups.

Foldable plug and LED status

The wall adapter uses a foldable flat pin for compact storage and shows red while charging, green when the cell reaches full charge or stands by. No car adapter or multi-bay dock is included, so users needing simultaneous charging of all three batteries must buy extra hardware.

Questions about this item

Does the AC wall charger get hot when charging three 7800mAh batteries overnight?

The charger runs on 100-240V input and outputs 8.4V at 600mA, so it draws little power and stays cool during extended use.

Do I need a separate power cord or adapter to plug the charger into a UK socket?

The charger has a foldable flat plug designed for direct wall connection; no extra cord is required.

Will these 7.4V 57.7Wh batteries power my JVC GY-HM200 camcorder as long as the original BN-S8I50 packs?

Yes, they match the 7.4V voltage and 7800mAh capacity of the BN-S8I50, so runtime is equivalent.
