KastKing Monofilament Line 8 LB

This KastKing Premium Monofilament fishing line is built for anglers who need a reliable nylon mainline in an 8 LB test. The Mountain Green colour helps the line blend into vegetation-rich water while staying visible above the surface. It suits freshwater and saltwater sessions where managed stretch and consistent knot holding matter.

Low-Memory Spool for Spinning or Baitcast Reels

Paralleled Roll Track technology reduces coil memory so the line lays evenly on the spool and flows through guides with less friction. Low water absorption keeps diameter and stiffness stable throughout the day. The 300-yard fill fits standard reel capacities without backing and leaves room for a fluorocarbon or braid leader when conditions demand it.

300 Yards of 8 LB Test with Abrasion Resistance

The 900-foot spool provides enough length for multiple re-spools or long-distance casting across a season. High knot strength and abrasion resistance handle rocks, timber and toothy fish at this pound-test. Anglers targeting larger species or fishing heavy cover will need a heavier test from the 4–30 LB range.

Questions about this item

How much 8 lb line fits on my reel from the 300 yard spool?

The spool holds 300 yards, which equals 900 feet of 8 lb monofilament for your reel.

Does the nylon material get limp or absorb water after hours of casting?

Low water absorption keeps the line from getting limp so it retrieves quickly all day.

What terminal tackle works best with the low-memory design?

The low-memory construction reduces knot breakage, so standard knots hold securely with hooks and lures.
