Three-colour folding knife set

The KATA KT2243ST set contains three folding utility knives in red black and silver plus twelve spare SK5 blades. Zinc alloy handles and a lock-back mechanism keep the blade secure during cutting tasks. A 1.0 mm stainless steel belt clip allows the knives to be carried on a pocket or tool bag. The pack is suited to everyday office work study and simple handicrafts.

Check blade compatibility and locking action

Verify that the supplied SK5 replacement blades match the holder before starting a job. Ensure the lock-back engages fully each time the knife is opened and that the clear plastic safety cover fits over the blade when stored. The knives are not designed for prying twisting or use as a screwdriver.

Sustained cutting with quick blade changes

SK5 steel holds an edge through repeated cardboard carpet rope and packaging cuts. When the blade dulls the release button allows a fast swap without tools. The zinc alloy handle resists flex during long sessions and the belt clip keeps a knife to hand for continuous workflow.

Questions about this item

What comes in the KT2243ST 3-pack and do I need to buy extra blades?

The set includes three folding utility knives in red, black and silver plus 12 replacement SK5 blades and a clear plastic safety cover for each knife.

Which colour should I choose among the red, black and silver knives?

All three knives are identical in function; the colours simply let you assign one to the garage, one to the toolbox and one to a packing station.

How does the lock-back mechanism work when I am cutting cardboard?

The blade locks open during use and folds back into the zinc alloy handle when released, reducing the chance of accidental cuts.
