What it is and who it is for

The Kaulsoue LS51D is a 16.2-inch wide desk lamp with 120 LED beads offering 360-degree gooseneck flexibility. It provides five dimmable brightness levels from 20 to 100 percent and five colour temperatures from 3000K to 6500K. Touch control adjusts settings for reading, working, studying or detailed crafts. The matte finish and stable base suit home office desks.

How it fits into a build

The lamp plugs into a 12W USB adapter so it needs a free USB port or wall charger nearby. Its 7.08 by 16.14 by 24.8 inch frame and 1.338 kg weight keep the footprint steady without clamping. The gooseneck reaches a maximum work height of about 28 inches, clearing 15 to 30 inch monitors. A 45-minute timer can switch the light off automatically.

What it replaces and when the jump is worth it

It replaces single-temperature clip lamps or fixed-arm lights that cause glare or flicker. The upgrade is worth it when you need uniform, flicker-free illumination across a wide desk area and want to shift from warm 3000K relaxation to cool 6500K focus without changing bulbs. Buyers who need more than five discrete colour steps or a built-in battery will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

How long does the 45-minute timer run before the lamp turns off automatically?

The built-in timer shuts the lamp off after 45 minutes of continuous operation.

Does the 12 W USB adapter keep the 120 LED bar cool during all-day use?

The LED technology produces reduced heat emission compared with traditional bulbs, so the bar stays cool even during extended sessions.

What power source must I already have to run the 12 W USB adapter?

A standard USB-A port or USB wall charger that can deliver 12 W is required to power the lamp.
