Keeney Manufacturing Co. 6177CP Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet Polished Chrome

Single-handle pull-out kitchen faucet

The Keeney 6177CP is a polished-chrome kitchen faucet with a single lever and a pull-out spray head. It belongs to the 61 series designer collection and delivers a 1.8 GPM flow rate. The metal exterior shell uses a hybrid waterway design. A matching deck plate is included for single-hole or three-hole sink configurations.

Klik Connect installation and common issues

The faucet uses Klik Connect technology for tool-free attachment of the supply lines and hose. Most installers simply push the connectors until they click into place. Leaks usually come from an O-ring that is not fully seated or a supply line that was not pushed past the internal stop. The 60-in braided nylon hose should be routed without sharp bends to avoid kinking.

Sink and plumbing checks before ordering

Confirm your countertop has either one or three mounting holes spaced for the included deck plate. Verify that the hot and cold supply lines under the sink are standard 1/2-in connections compatible with the push-fit fittings. Ensure there is enough clearance behind the sink for the pull-out hose to retract fully. Check local codes for any lead-content restrictions related to the Proposition 65 notice.
