Keeney GB2022-24VB Wave Designer Grab Bar

This 24-inch safety bar is made from 18 gauge stainless steel with an oil rubbed bronze finish. Its wavy design suits walk-in showers and bathrooms while avoiding an institutional appearance. The bar meets ADA requirements and supports aging-in-place needs or anyone requiring extra stability. It installs with the included hardware for a secure mount.

Included Flange Covers and Stainless Steel Screws

The package supplies two 3-inch flange covers that conceal mounting hardware for a cleaner look. Six 2-inch stainless steel screws provide corrosion-resistant fastening into wall framing. These bundled items mean no separate trip for compatible fasteners or trim pieces. Everything needed for a standard installation is in the box.

ADA Compliant Dimensions and Fixed Length

The bar measures 24 inches long with a 1.25-inch diameter, matching ADA guidelines for grip size. This specific length fits many shower stalls but cannot be shortened or extended on site. Buyers needing a 16-inch or 36-inch span must choose a different model from the same series. The fixed size limits placement to spaces that accommodate the full 24-inch run.

Questions about this item

How often will the stainless-steel grab bar need maintenance or replacement?

The 18 ga. stainless-steel construction resists corrosion, so no routine maintenance or scheduled replacement is required beyond normal cleaning.

What limit appears first when the grab bar is used continuously?

The 1.25-in. diameter and 24-in. length set the physical span and grip size, which determine how much leverage can be applied.

Does the grab bar generate noise, heat or draw power during all-day use?

It is a passive metal bar with no moving parts or electrical components, so it produces no noise, no heat and consumes no power.
