Contemporary Kitchen Faucet

The Keeney Manufacturing Co. Urbania URB78CCP is a single-handle pull-down kitchen faucet finished in polished chrome. Its curved lines create a simple and contemporary look suited to modern household styles. The design includes a cover plate for 8-in. centerset pre-drilled kitchen sinks. This faucet targets homeowners seeking a durable, designer collection fixture.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The faucet operates at a 2.2 GPM flow rate through soft, easy-to-clean nozzles. Brass construction supports long-term durability under normal water pressure and temperature variations. A high-quality ceramic disc cartridge ensures maintenance-free use without leaks or drips. No electrical power or active cooling is required for operation.

Bundled Accessories Impact

The included cover plate enables installation on sinks with 8-in. centerset pre-drilled holes. A push-button diverter allows switching between stream and spray jet modes without changing temperature settings. The diverter can halt water flow temporarily while preserving the selected temperature. Soft nozzles simplify removal of hard water or lime scale build-up.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Urbania URB78CCP on an 8-inch centreset sink and what step is often missed?

Use the included cover plate to match the 8-in. centreset holes, then secure the single-handle body; the step often missed is fully tightening the mounting hardware beneath the deck before connecting the supply lines.

What maintenance will the ceramic disc cartridge and spray nozzles need over time?

The ceramic disc cartridge is maintenance-free; the soft spray nozzles only need occasional wiping to remove hard-water or lime-scale build-up.

What limit will I hit first during sustained use with the 2.2 GPM flow rate?

The 2.2 GPM flow-rate restriction is the first limit you encounter during sustained use, capping water volume regardless of supply pressure.
