The KEHIPI 4-12mm varifocal C-mount lens adapts the Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera to a compact telephoto optic. A C-CS adapter is included so the lens mounts directly to the camera’s native CS-mount. It suits makers building machine-vision rigs, wildlife monitors or fixed-focus inspection stations that need a narrower field of view than the stock lens provides.
Adjustable Optics
The lens offers a 4-12mm focal range with manual focus and aperture rings spanning F1.6 to F16. On the 1/2.3" IMX477 sensor the horizontal field of view shifts from 87.2° at the wide end to 39° at the telephoto end, or 80° to 32° depending on the crop mode used. No IR filter is fitted, so infrared-sensitive applications can be addressed without modification.
Compatibility Check
Verify that your project uses the official Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera with its CS-mount flange; other Pi camera modules have different back-focus distances and will not reach focus. The lens optical format is 1/2", so it covers the IMX477 without vignetting.
