Trail Camera Signal Boost
This dual-pack antenna kit targets owners of 4G LTE trail cameras that use an RP-SMA male port. The 9 dBi omnidirectional elements cover the 698–960 MHz, 1710–2170 MHz and 2300–2700 MHz bands used by Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. Compatible models include numerous Spypoint Link, Stealth Cam Fusion and Reactor, Tactacam Reveal and Cuddeback J-series units. Buyers whose camera uses the SPYPOINT CELL LINK or an SMA connector will need a different solution.
Outdoor Thermal Tolerance
Passive operation means zero noise and zero power draw from the antenna itself. The radome is rated for continuous use from –20 °C to +80 °C and survives storage down to –30 °C and up to +85 °C. Linear vertical polarisation and a VSWR below 2.0 keep the link stable across the supported LTE bands without adding heat to the camera enclosure.
RP-SMA Male Integration
Each whip terminates in an RP-SMA male plug — centre hole, no centre pin — that threads directly onto the camera’s external antenna jack. The 50 ohm impedance match requires no adapters, pigtails or retuning. At 65 g per antenna the pair adds negligible mass to a tree-mount or pole setup and leaves the camera’s USB and power ports free for solar panels or external battery packs.

Questions about this item
How do I attach the RP-SMA male connector to my trail camera without cross-threading it?
Align the centre hole of the RP-SMA male plug with the camera's RP-SMA female jack, then turn the knurled collar clockwise by hand until snug — do not use tools or force the centre pin, which is absent on this connector.
Will the antenna's performance degrade if left mounted outdoors year-round?
The unit is rated for continuous operation from -20 °C to +80 °C and storage down to -30 °C, so seasonal temperature swings stay within spec; no periodic replacement is required unless physical damage occurs.
At what point does signal gain stop improving when I reposition this 9 dBi omni-directional antenna?
Gain is fixed at 9 dBi; once the antenna has clear line-of-sight to the nearest cell tower, further repositioning yields no additional gain because the radiation pattern is already omni-directional.
