Stackable 4 mm Banana Plugs

KEHIPI 4 mm stackable shrouded banana plugs are solderless wire cap connectors designed for engineers, students and DIY enthusiasts. Each plug uses a copper nickel-plated contact inside an insulating PA shell. The 20-piece set provides ten colours for quick circuit identification.

Rated Voltage and Current

The plugs are rated for 1000 V and 10 A in normal use. Nickel-plated copper contacts maintain low resistance while the PA insulation prevents accidental shorts. Screw fixation secures the wire without soldering, keeping connections stable during bench work.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous load the copper contacts and PA shells retain their electrical and mechanical properties at the rated 1000 V and 10 A. Stackable design allows multiple leads to share a single 4 mm socket without overheating. The solderless screw terminal stays tight during prolonged test sessions.

Questions about this item

How do I wire the solderless screw-fixation banana plug without stripping too much insulation?

Pass the bare wire through the grey base and the 4 mm jack, insert and tighten the screw from the plug end, then snap the insulating shell on.

What part of the connector is most likely to need replacement after repeated stacking and unstacking?

The nickel-plated copper contact and the PA insulating shell can wear; keep spare plugs from the 20-piece set for quick swaps.

At what load does the 1000 V 10 A rating become the limiting factor during continuous use?

The 10 A current limit is reached first; sustained loads above 10 A will overheat the contact before the 1000 V insulation rating is stressed.
