Desk mat for keyboard and mouse

This extra-wide mat covers the full width of a typical desk at 31.5 inches by 15.75 inches. A soft cotton-fabric top layer gives a comfortable wrist rest while a natural rubber base grips the surface firmly. The 0.12 inch thickness adds a thin cushion without raising the typing height noticeably.

Replaces smaller single-purpose pads

A standard mouse pad only protects the area under the mouse, leaving the keyboard on bare desktop. This mat unifies both zones, so the keyboard no longer slides and the desk stays free of scratches. The jump is worth it when you want one continuous surface for typing and gaming alike.

Limits of a cloth-and-rubber surface

The fine textile texture works with optical, laser and wireless sensors, but very high-DPI mice may feel a slight drag compared with hard plastic pads. Liquid spills wash off the top fabric, yet the rubber underside can absorb moisture if the mat is soaked through. Prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the printed artwork.

Questions about this item

How much flat desk space does the 31.5 x 15.75 in mat need?

It covers 31.5 by 15.75 inches, so allow at least that much clear, flat surface for the 3 mm thick pad.

What is the correct way to unroll and flatten the cloth-top rubber-base mat?

Lay it printed side up on a clean desk, smooth from the centre outward to remove curls, and press the rubber base down so it grips evenly.

Can the printed cloth surface be washed when it gets dirty?

Yes, liquid stains wash off with water; air-dry completely before use and the colours stay vibrant.
