Desk lamp with clamp and stand

The KEHIPI clip-on desk lamp delivers 12 W of LED output in a silvery ABS and aluminium body. It offers three colour temperatures at 3000 K, 4500 K and 6500 K, each with ten dimming steps. The integrated controller handles power and mode changes. It suits home-office workers, students and anyone needing adjustable task lighting.

USB power and mounting options

Power comes from any 5 V 2 A USB source such as a power bank, charger or laptop port; no adapter is included. A strong clamp grips desk edges, headboards or shelves, while a hole in the clamp allows wall hanging. Bending the flexible arm lets the unit stand freely on the clamp base, giving three mounting styles from one fixture.

Simple setup with heat caution

Clamp the lamp, plug the USB cable into a suitable port and use the inline controller to select mode and brightness. The manual warns to disconnect the USB when the light is not in use to prevent overheating and possible damage to the lamp or the USB interface. No software or drivers are required.

Questions about this item

Do the LEDs need replacing, or is there any user-serviceable part inside the 12 W lamp?

The lamp uses integrated LEDs with no user-replaceable components; if the light output degrades the whole unit would be replaced.

Which limit appears first during continuous use — the 5 V 2 A USB power cap or thermal protection?

The manufacturer warns to disconnect the USB when not in use to avoid overheating, indicating thermal limits are reached before the 5 V 2 A supply ceiling.

How much heat or fan noise does the silvery aluminium body produce after running all day at 6500 K?

There is no fan; the aluminium body acts as a passive heatsink and becomes warm but silent during extended operation.
