CSI-HDMI Camera Extension Module
This KEHIPI CSI to HDMI extension module adapts Raspberry Pi camera V1, V2, V3 and HQ modules to standard HDMI cabling. Two adapter boards and two 15-pin 60 mm FPC cables are included, allowing the CSI signal to travel over longer high-speed HDMI links. The boards also carry three extra signals through a headphone jack connector for audio, GPIO or sensor use. Supported hosts include Raspberry Pi 4B, 3B+, 3B, 2, Model A/B/B+, Pi Zero and NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano.
Makers needing longer camera runs
Builders who want to place a Pi camera several metres from the board benefit from the noise-resistant HDMI extension and the three auxiliary channels. Users whose cameras must stay within the short native FPC length, or who prefer a direct CSI-to-CSI ribbon, will not need this adapter set. The module does not add any image processing or compression; it only transports the existing CSI stream.
15-pin 60 mm FPC cable included
Each kit supplies two 15-pin 60 mm flexible flat cables that mate directly with the camera module and the adapter board. If your camera uses a different pin count or pitch, the supplied FPCs will not connect.

Questions about this item
How do I decide between the V1, V2, V3 and HQ camera versions this module supports?
The module works with all four camera boards — V1 (5MP OV5647), V2 (8MP IMX219), V3 (12MP IMX477) and HQ (12MP IMX477) — so choose the camera that matches your resolution and sensor needs; the adapter itself is identical for each.
What does running the camera over 10 metres with a high-speed HDMI cable mean in practice?
It means the CSI signals are converted to travel over a standard HDMI cable up to 10 metres without signal loss, letting you place the camera far from the Raspberry Pi or Jetson board while keeping full bandwidth.
What does the headphone-jack connector on the board add to the HDMI extension?
It carries three extra signals — such as audio, GPIO or other sensor lines — alongside the video stream so you can extend more than just the camera data over the same cable.
