G8 LED bulb for under-cabinet lighting

This six-pack of KEHIPI G8 bi-pin LED bulbs replaces 20-25 watt halogen capsules in under-cabinet, landscape and accent fixtures. Each lamp draws 3 watts and delivers 270 lumens of 3000 K warm white light with a 360-degree beam angle. The sealed silica-gel housing protects the 48-piece 3014 SMD array from moisture and aids heat dissipation. Rated life exceeds 25,000 hours.

Check dimmer compatibility and voltage

Verify that your existing dimmer is labelled LED-compatible; ordinary dimmers can cause flicker or unstable low-end dimming. Confirm the supply voltage falls within the AC 110-130 V range printed on the bulb. Ensure the fixture accepts a standard G8 bi-pin base measuring 0.5 inches in diameter and 1.43 inches in overall length. Switch off power before removing the old halogen capsule.

Sealed construction and high CRI change maintenance

The hermetic silica-gel seal eliminates the open envelope of halogen capsules, reducing dust ingress and moisture failure in kitchen or bathroom environments. A colour rendering index above 80 renders food and surfaces more naturally than typical halogen replacements. Instant-on behaviour with no buzzing removes the warm-up delay common with older energy-saving lamps. No additional software or accessories are bundled.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 6-pack and do I need anything else to use them?

The pack contains six G8 bi-pin LED bulbs; each is ready to install in a standard G8 socket. A compatible LED dimmer is required if you want dimming, otherwise no extra parts are needed.

Should I pick the 3 W 270 lm version or a different wattage?

This listing only offers the 3 W model producing 270 lm at 3000 K, designed to replace 20 W–25 W halogen capsules. No other wattage or lumen option is included in this pack.

How bright will the 270 lm output look in my under-cabinet fixture?

At 270 lm and a 360-degree beam angle, each bulb delivers light comparable to a 20 W–25 W halogen capsule, giving warm 3000 K illumination across the counter surface.
