Compact FRS two-pack for short-range teams

The KEHIPI H-777 pair delivers 16 FRS channels with a 1.5 mile range in a 115 gram black housing measuring 2.36 x 1.3 x 4.53 inches. A 1000 mAh lithium-ion cell powers up to 12 hours of talk time and 60 hours on standby. Water-repellent construction and a built-in LED flashlight suit hiking, cycling or job-site coordination.

Replaces older licence-free handsets when USB-C

Earlier FRS units often relied on proprietary cradles or micro-USB; this model adds Type-C and a dock so you can top up from any phone charger or power bank. The jump is worth it if your group needs hands-free VOX operation, a side-key emergency alarm and compatibility with existing RT22, RT68, RT27, H-777S or RB66P accessories.

Drop-in setup with one common snag

Turn on, match the channel number and press the push-to-talk button — no programming cable or software required. The short fixed antenna keeps the radio pocketable but limits range in dense woods or buildings; users who need farther reach must accept the FRS power ceiling. Long-press side key 1 for the alarm, side key 2 for VOX, and remember the flashlight button for night use.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of each radio so I can check if they fit my belt clip?

Each unit measures 2.36 in x 1.3 in x 4.53 in and weighs 115 grams.

How do I charge the batteries and what common mistake should I avoid?

Use the supplied Type-C cable or the charging dock; a common error is not seating the radio fully in the dock so the contacts do not connect.

When will the 1000mAh battery need replacing and how will I know?

The battery typically lasts several years; the radio gives a low-battery alert when runtime drops below the usual 12 hours of work or 60 hours of standby.
