Capture card for streaming and recording

The KEHIPI NXA055_55L is a USB 3.0 video capture device that accepts 4K 60 Hz HDMI input and passes it through a loop-out at the same resolution. It encodes to 1080p 60 fps or 2K 30 fps for recording or live streaming on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iPadOS 17+. The MS2131 chip handles YUY2 and MJPEG output with 24, 30 or 36-bit deep colour. Aluminium alloy construction aids heat dissipation during extended sessions.

Included cable and microphone input

The package supplies a USB 3.0 to USB-A/USB-C 3.0 cable and an English installation guide so the card works with both port types without extra adapters. A 3.5 mm microphone jack lets you add live commentary to gameplay or interviews, though party chat audio is not captured. OBS, QuickTime Player, VLC, PotPlayer and Amcap are listed as compatible capture software, giving immediate software flexibility.

Aluminium body with five-port layout

The 0.145 kg aluminium alloy shell acts as a heatsink and the revised cable routing reduces signal instability such as blue screens or lag. Five ports provide HDMI input, HDMI loop-out, USB 3.0 data, USB-C power delivery and the 3.5 mm mic input in a compact footprint. Maximum working current is 0.4 A at 5 V DC and the operating temperature range spans -10 to +55 °C, suitable for desktop or mobile streaming setups.

Questions about this item

Will the aluminium housing need any thermal paste or fan maintenance over time?

The capture card uses a passive aluminium alloy chassis for heat dissipation with no moving parts or user-serviceable thermal interfaces, so no periodic maintenance is required.

What limits continuous capture length at 1080p 60 fps?

The MS2131 chip and USB 3.0 link sustain 1080p 60 fps output indefinitely; the practical limit is the host computer's storage space or recording software settings.

How warm and loud does the card get when streaming all day?

The aluminium body stays warm but within the rated -10 to +55 °C operating range, and because there is no fan the device is completely silent.
