Ultra-Portable FRS Radio Set

The KEHIPI RT22 four-pack supplies licence-free FRS walkie-talkies for families, hikers and work crews who need instant push-to-talk coordination. Each unit weighs 3.8 oz and measures 0.83 in x 2.2 in x 5.35 in, so it slips into a pocket or clips to a belt without bulk. The orange finish helps visibility on a job site or trail.

16-Channel FRS Frequency Band

The single specification that decides fit is the 16-channel FRS allocation; it determines whether the radios can legally talk to your existing fleet without a licence. All four handsets share the same band and channel count, so they interoperate with other FRS models such as RT68, RT21 or H777 straight out of the box. No programming is required.

Type-C Charging and VOX Operation

A built-in 1000 mAh battery delivers up to 10 hours of continuous use and recharges from any USB-C source — phone charger, laptop or power bank — removing the need for proprietary cradles. Voice-activated VOX lets users transmit hands-free while skiing, climbing or working. The emergency alarm button alerts every radio on the shared channel with a single press.

Questions about this item

How far will the 3-kilometre range actually reach inside a building?

The 3-kilometre figure applies to open terrain; inside structures walls and floors cut the usable distance to a few hundred metres.

What does the FRS band limit in practice?

FRS caps transmit power at 2 watts and locks the radio to 16 fixed channels, so no licence is needed but range is legally restricted.

Will the 0.83-by-2.2-by-5.35-inch body fit a standard belt clip?

Yes — the slim 0.83-inch depth and included clip let it sit flush on a belt or pocket edge without bulk.
