Six-pack FRS radios with shared charger

The KEHIPI RT27 ships as six licence-free FRS handsets and a single six-way charging station. Each unit carries a 1100 mAh rechargeable lithium cell that can be topped up in the base or swapped for a spare. The bundle targets schools, construction crews, restaurants and similar teams that need immediate group communication without individual docks.

Drop-ready build and voice-activated talk

Ruggedised housings survive repeated drops, and the VOX circuit opens the microphone when you speak so no press-to-talk button is required. CTCSS and DCS codes reduce cross-talk on the 22 FRS channels, while a time-out timer and battery-save mode protect the cells. The charger accepts both radios and loose batteries, cutting cable clutter.

Two-mile range across 25 floors

In open conditions the radios reach roughly two miles, and the supplier notes reliable coverage across 25 storeys — enough for typical teaching blocks or site offices. The 22 channels overlap with several common Retevis models on channels one to five, easing mixed-fleet use. FCC ID 2AAR8 RT27 confirms Part 95 compliance, but the units are not water-resistant, so outdoor exposure needs shelter.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the radios are transmitting properly after I set them up?

Press the PTT button and speak; the voice-activated VOX circuit will transmit when it detects sound, and the receiving units on the same channel will play your audio, confirming the link is live.

What comes in the box and is anything extra required to start using the six radios?

The package includes six RT27 radios, six 1100mAh batteries, six belt clips, six hand straps, one six-way charger with adapter and a user manual — everything needed for immediate operation.

Which version should I pick if I need licence-free use for a school or construction crew?

This RT27 model carries FCC ID 2AAR8 RT27 and complies with FCC Part 95, making it legal for licence-free FRS use on all 22 channels right out of the box.
