Retro Typewriter Gaming Keyboard

The KEHIPI keyboard uses a full-size 108-key layout with clicky mechanical blue switches that give audible clicks and tactile feedback. Round steampunk keycaps mimic a vintage typewriter for a distinctive feel. A collapsible ABS wrist rest adds ergonomic support during long sessions.

Wired USB Interface Limits

The board connects over a standard wired USB link, so it draws power and sends data through a single cable without batteries or wireless pairing. All 108 keys support full n-key rollover anti-ghosting, letting you press many keys at once without missed inputs. No software suite is mentioned for macro programming or per-key lighting control.

Upgrade From Membrane Or Laptop Keys

Users moving from flat membrane boards or shallow laptop keyboards gain pronounced click feedback and deeper travel for typing and gaming precision. The jump is worth it if you want audible confirmation on every keystroke and a retro aesthetic. It is not for buyers who need hot-swappable switches, wireless freedom, or a compact form factor.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the blue, brown or red switch version for this typewriter keyboard?

Blue switches give an audible click and tactile bump; brown switches are tactile but quieter; red switches are linear and silent — pick blue for clicky feedback, brown for a softer feel, red for smooth keystrokes.

What does the 168 LED backlight modes figure mean when I use the keyboard daily?

It provides 168 preset lighting patterns plus 7 side colours, all adjustable for brightness and speed via Fn+Pause, so you can match any setup or create a custom look.

How does the USB connection affect the 108-key anti-ghosting in practice?

The wired USB link delivers full N-key rollover, letting you press all 108 keys simultaneously with no missed or delayed inputs during gaming or typing.
