Compact 1.5 L desktop bin

The Kekoy EK9206 is a 1.5 L plastic bin sold in a 12 pack for desktops, vanities and small countertops. Its 4.72 in diameter and 6.5 in height suit tight spaces in bathrooms, offices or bedrooms. The black finish and swing lid keep waste out of sight while fitting discreetly beside a coffee station or nightstand. Buyers who need larger capacity or wheeled mobility will not be served by this model.

Replaces open cups or loose bags

This bin replaces makeshift containers such as coffee mugs, plastic bags or uncovered trays that collect cotton pads, pods or wrappers. The upgrade is worth it when a self closing lid and a liner ready interior are needed to contain odours and simplify disposal. The 12 pack lets you equip multiple rooms at once without mixing styles. It does not replace a full size kitchen bin or a recycling sorter.

Limits of the swing lid mechanism

The 360° gravity lid opens from any angle and resets automatically, but it relies on a light push and cannot be locked shut. Fine debris or liquid can escape if the bin is tipped, and the lid does not seal against strong odours. The 1.5 L volume means frequent emptying in high traffic spots. No foot pedal, sensor or bag retaining ring is included.

Questions about this item

What footprint does the 4.7 in diameter bin need on a desk or vanity?

The bin measures 4.72 in by 4.72 in at the base and stands 6.5 in tall, so it fits on narrow shelves, nightstands or bathroom counters without overhang.

How is the swing lid assembled and what alignment step is often missed?

The lid snaps onto the PP body with a 360° gravity hinge; the only step users miss is seating the stainless steel base fully into the body groove so the lid swings freely from any angle.

Which liner size matches the 1.5 L capacity for quick replacement?

Use 3–6 L (0.8–1.6 gal) code-A trash bags; the detachable inner bucket lifts out for fast bag changes and the pack includes 12 bins for multiple stations.
