21 Gallon Drawstring Trash Bags

These 21 gallon white bags come in a 60 count pack for kitchen and household waste. The drawstring closure allows quick lifting, tying and carrying. They are unscented and made from 1 mil plastic that is 10 percent stronger than leading national trash bags. The easy-dispense roll keeps bags ready without fumbling.

Practical limits of the drawstring closure

The drawstring works well for typical kitchen loads but can slip if the bag is overfilled beyond the 21 gallon capacity. Wet or heavy waste may stress the closure before the bag body fails. The 1 mil material resists punctures from light sharp objects yet is not rated for construction debris or hot ashes. Leak resistance holds for normal liquids but not for sustained pressure.

Installation and common issues

Pull a bag from the roll, open it and place it in a compatible can; the drawstring cinches over the rim in seconds. Most problems come from forcing too much waste into one bag, which stretches the drawstring and causes tearing at the tie point. Using a can significantly smaller than 21 gallons leaves excess plastic that bunches and interferes with the closure.

Questions about this item

How do I know the 21 gallon size fits my bin?

The 21 gallon capacity equals about 79.5 litres, matching standard large kitchen bins labelled 50 to 90 litres.

What does the 1 mil thickness mean for everyday loads?

At 1 mil thick the bags are 10 percent stronger than the leading national brand, so they resist tears and leaks with heavy kitchen waste.

How does the drawstring closure work when the bag is full?

The drawstring lets you lift, cinch and tie the bag without touching the contents, then carry it out cleanly.
