Penetrating Tire Lubricant

Ken Tool 35847 Bead-Eze is a water-based liquid lubricant designed for tyre mounting and leak detection. The red formula comes in a one-gallon bottle and carries a maximum pH level of 9. It reduces friction between the bead and rim to help seat the tyre without damage.

Tyre Service Workshops

Technicians who mount tyres regularly will appreciate the penetrating action that speeds up installation and helps locate bead leaks. Shops that only need occasional lubrication or prefer a paste consistency should consider a different format.

Water-Based Formula with pH 9

The lubricant uses a water-based chemistry capped at pH 9 to protect rubber and wheel finishes during mounting. The liquid penetrates tight bead seats and highlights escaping air for leak checks. Net weight is 54 lb per container.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and is any extra equipment needed to use the 1 gal Bead-Eze?

The package contains one 1 gallon bottle of red, water-based penetrating lubricant. No additional tools or accessories are required to apply it for tire mounting or leak detection.

How do I decide between the available versions or capacities of this Ken Tool lubricant?

Only the 1 gallon bottle (model 35847) is offered in this listing. Choose this size when you need a larger volume for frequent tire mounting or leak detection work.

What does the 54 lb net weight tell me about handling the product in the workshop?

The filled bottle weighs 54 lb, so plan for two-person lifting or a dolly when moving it. The weight reflects the dense liquid formulation that provides penetrating lubrication for beads and leak detection.
