Kenney 71632 Rachel Curtain Rod

The Kenney 71632 Rachel Curtain Rod is a telescoping metal rod finished in Italian pewter with matching resin finials. It adjusts from 48 to 86 inches to fit a range of window widths. Mounting brackets, hardware and instructions are included for straightforward installation. It suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and kitchens.

Sustained load behaviour

The rod is recommended for light and medium weight curtains under continuous use. Its 5/8 inch diameter metal construction maintains shape across the extended span without permanent deflection. The included brackets secure the rod at a 3 inch projection from the wall for consistent clearance. Heavier drapery fabrics may exceed the rated capacity over time.

Telescoping interface limits

The adjustable mechanism locks within the 48 to 86 inch range and cannot be extended beyond these endpoints. Compatibility is limited to back tab, pocket and tab top curtain headings that slide onto the rod. Grommet, ring or clip styles are not supported by the rod design. The fixed 3 inch projection cannot be altered for deeper returns.

Questions about this item

Does the 5/8-inch diameter rod stay rigid across the full 48 to 86-inch span without sagging under medium-weight curtains?

The telescoping metal rod is designed for light and medium weight curtains and includes mounting brackets that secure it at the chosen length.

What tools or extra parts are needed beyond the included brackets, hardware and instructions to mount the rod?

No additional hardware is required; the package supplies all brackets, fasteners and instructions for installation.

Will the 3-inch projection and Italian pewter finials clear existing 2-inch blinds mounted inside the same window frame?

The rod projects 3 inches from the wall, providing clearance for most inside-mounted blinds while the decorative resin finials sit at each end.
