Kensington 52795 24" 16:9 Privacy Screen Accessory

24" 16:9 Privacy Screen Filter

The Kensington 52795 is a privacy screen accessory built for 24-inch monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It limits the viewing angle to plus or minus 30 degrees so that people beside the user cannot read confidential information. The filter also reduces harmful blue light by up to 30 percent and includes an anti-reflective coating that cuts glare. A reversible design gives a choice between matte and glossy finishes.

Viewing Angle Limited to 30 Degrees

The single specification that decides fit is the 16:9 aspect ratio combined with a 24-inch diagonal screen size. The privacy layer only works as intended when those two measurements match the monitor exactly. If the display uses a different aspect ratio or a different diagonal the filter will not cover the active area correctly and the viewing-angle restriction will fail.

Installs With Tabs or Tape

Installation uses the included frameless tab holders or the supplied double-sided adhesive tape, and a cleaning cloth is provided to prepare the screen surface. The most common issue is dust or fingerprints trapped under the film during application which can cause bubbles or reduced clarity. Choosing the wrong mounting method for a specific bezel design can also leave gaps at the edges.
