24.0" 16:9 privacy filter

This Kensington Eyesafe filter fits 24.0 inch monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It narrows the viewing angle so on-screen data stays visible only to the person directly in front of the display. The accessory is designed for open-plan offices, shared workstations and anyone handling confidential information.

Blue light reduction and thermals

The Eyesafe layer cuts a portion of high-energy blue light without shifting colour accuracy. Because the filter is a passive film it adds no fan noise, draws no power and does not change the monitor's thermal behaviour. Installation uses the supplied mounting options and leaves ventilation paths clear.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the ES240A169A filter to my 24.0" 16:9 monitor, and what is the common mistake?

Align the filter precisely with the bezel edges before pressing the adhesive strips; the step often missed is cleaning the screen thoroughly first to prevent dust bubbles.

Will the Eyesafe blue light layer on this 24.0" filter degrade and need replacement?

The Eyesafe coating is built into the filter material and does not wear out; replacement is only needed if the panel is scratched or the adhesive fails.
