Privacy screen for 270 monitors

This Kensington privacy filter narrows the viewing angle to plus or minus 30 degrees, helping you keep on-screen information confidential in open-plan offices or shared workspaces. It is designed for users who need visual data protection without removing the monitor from their desk.

Blue-light reduction and anti-glare surface

The filter cuts harmful blue light by up to 30 percent, easing eye strain and reducing the chance that blue light interrupts natural sleep patterns. One side has a matte finish that reduces glare and fingerprints, while the other side is glossy for a clearer view when privacy is less critical.

Antimicrobial coating on the matte side

The matte surface uses a special antimicrobial film that prevents mildew and bacteria growth, which can cause stains and odours on the film over time. The filter weighs 1.65 units and attaches to the monitor so you can flip between the two finishes as lighting conditions change.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the FP270W9 to a 270 monitor and which side should face me?

Align the filter with the 270 display and press it into place; choose the matte side to cut glare and resist fingerprints or the glossy side for a clearer view.

Will the antimicrobial coating on the matte surface wear off and need replacement?

The antimicrobial film is built into the matte layer and lasts for the life of the filter; no separate replacement is required.

How much does the +/- 30 degree viewing angle limit side visibility in a busy office?

Anyone outside the 30 degree cone sees a darkened screen, so data stays private from adjacent desks and walkways.
