Kensington FP201 Privacy Screen

The Kensington FP201 is a monitor privacy filter designed for office workers and professionals who need to keep on-screen data visible only to the person sitting directly in front of the display. It helps prevent visual eavesdropping in open-plan environments or shared workspaces.

Magnetic or adhesive attachment

Installation uses either magnetic strips or adhesive tabs supplied with the filter; align the narrow edge with the bezel and press firmly. The most common issue is a slight gap at the corners if the monitor bezel is curved or unusually thick, which can let light leak through at extreme angles.

Check monitor dimensions first

Before ordering, measure the active viewing area of your screen to confirm it matches the FP201 size; the filter must cover the entire panel without overlapping the bezel. Also verify that your monitor has a flat, non-touch surface, as the adhesive option may not bond securely to textured or oleophobic coatings.
