Kensington K52125WW 16.0" Privacy Screen accessory

Privacy screen for 16.0" widescreen laptops

The Kensington FP160W9 privacy screen fits 16.0 inch displays with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It limits the viewing angle so only the person directly in front can read the content. The accessory is aimed at professionals who handle confidential data in open offices, on trains or in cafés. Buyers who need a filter for a different screen size or aspect ratio cannot use this model.

Thermal and power impact in normal use

The filter adds no active components, so it draws zero power and generates no heat. It sits on the display surface without fans or electronics, leaving system thermals and acoustic profile unchanged. There is no battery drain or additional load on the laptop’s cooling solution. Users who expect active cooling or powered features will not find them here.

What the bundled accessories change

The package includes the privacy panel and mounting options that attach to the laptop bezel. These let the screen be fitted or removed quickly without tools. The accessories enable a secure, repeatable fit on compatible 16.0" 16:9 panels. No software, drivers or cleaning fluids are supplied, so ongoing maintenance relies on the user’s own materials.
