Fits 25 to 27 inch monitors

The Kensington FS270 Snap2 privacy screen attaches to widescreen flat-panel monitors between 25 and 27 inches. A spring-loaded mount holds the filter securely without adhesives or tools. It limits the viewing angle to plus or minus 30 degrees so onlookers cannot read confidential data. The hard-coated surface also protects the panel from scratches and fingerprints.

Blue-light reduction and glare control

The filter cuts harmful blue light by up to 30 percent during normal desktop use. A textured, lightly tinted finish minimises glare and improves contrast for more comfortable viewing. Because the frame sits flush, it does not obstruct built-in speakers or on-screen controls. No power or software is required for these benefits.

Consistent privacy under continuous use

The viewing-angle restriction remains effective for as long as the screen is in place, regardless of how long the monitor stays on. The adhesive-free mount does not degrade with heat from extended sessions, so the filter will not shift or detach. Scratch resistance and blue-light reduction also persist throughout the product's life without maintenance.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the spring-loaded mount to my 27-inch monitor without blocking the controls or speakers?

Align the spring-loaded mount with the top bezel of your 25 to 27 inch monitor, press gently until it snaps into place, and verify the privacy screen sits clear of any on-screen controls or speaker grilles.

Will the hard-coated surface need replacement if it gets scratched or the blue-light reduction fades?

The hard-coated surface resists scratches and fingerprints and the blue-light reduction is a permanent property of the filter material, so no scheduled replacement is required under normal use.

At what viewing angle does the +/- 30° privacy limit become ineffective during long work sessions?

The filter blocks side views beyond 30 degrees from centre; this angle does not change with sustained use, so privacy remains consistent throughout the day.
