Kensington 16 Inch Laptop Backpack

The Kensington Simply Portable Lite Backpack fits laptops up to 16 inches and uses a padded compartment for protection. Its lightweight frame and water-resistant fabric suit daily commutes for business or college users. A front pocket provides quick access to essentials while the green finish adds a subtle colour accent. The pack measures 17.7 by 13.8 by 3.9 inches for a compact profile.

Commuters Who Want Light Protection

This bag suits professionals and students who carry a single 16 inch notebook and prefer a slim, weather-resistant design. Buyers needing space for larger devices or extensive gear should consider a larger pack. The single shoulder strap and minimalist layout do not serve users who want multiple organisation pockets or a dedicated tablet sleeve. It is not built for heavy outdoor loads.

Simple Setup With One Strap

Installation means placing the laptop in the padded sleeve and adjusting the shoulder strap to length. No tools or assembly are required and the process takes seconds. The main issue reported is that the strap can loosen over long walks, so a periodic readjustment keeps the load comfortable. The water-resistant coating handles light rain but is not rated for submersion.

Questions about this item

Does the K60397WW require any extra accessory to carry a 16" laptop?

The padded laptop compartment is built for devices up to 16" and needs no additional sleeve or insert to hold the notebook securely.

Will the 3.9" depth still close properly when I keep a bulky charger and mouse alongside the laptop?

The 3.9" depth and front compartment give enough room for a charger and mouse while the main flap still closes flat.

How can I confirm the water-resistant coating is effective after the first rain shower?

Water should bead and run off the green fabric surface; if the exterior stays dry to the touch inside, the coating is working as intended.
