Table-top surge protector

The Kensington SmartSockets K62634NA is a circular surge protector built for conference tables and shared workspaces. Its 16-foot cord reaches distant wall outlets while keeping laptops, chargers and peripherals protected during meetings. A green indicator light confirms active protection at a glance.

Six adapter-friendly outlets

The circular layout accommodates up to six bulky AC adapters without blocking neighbouring sockets. Color-coded rings and matching cord labels keep cable runs organised on crowded surfaces. UL and CSA certifications verify the safety design for commercial environments.

1500 joules of surge dissipation

The 1500-joule rating absorbs damaging spikes before they reach connected equipment. Protection covers typical office transients from switching loads and nearby lightning strikes. Units facing sustained industrial surges or whole-building events will need a higher-rated device.

Questions about this item

How long can the 16-foot cord reach across a conference table?

The 16-foot power cord extends from a wall outlet to the centre of most large meeting tables, giving flexibility for laptop and charger placement during sessions.

Does the 1500-joule rating handle continuous heat from multiple adapters?

The unit dissipates surges up to 1500 joules; the circular layout spaces six adapters apart so heat does not concentrate, and a green indicator confirms active protection.

What plug type must the wall outlet accept for this protector to work?

A standard North American NEMA 5-15R receptacle is required; the protector’s own six outlets accept NEMA 5-15P plugs, including bulky adapter blocks.
