Portable keyed laptop lock
The Kensington K64699US is a ClickSafe portable keyed lock designed for laptops equipped with a Kensington security slot. It suits professionals who need quick physical security when working in shared or public spaces. The lock engages with a single click and uses a tamper-proof disk-style mechanism. A register-and-retrieve service provides a free replacement key if the original is lost.
Self-coiling cable and pivoting head
The super-strong cable stretches to 6' and retracts to 3" for compact transport, while the pivoting and rotating head works at any angle. It attaches via the ClickSafe Security Anchor to the slot found in 99% of computers, freeing the user from carrying a bulky chain. No tools or additional brackets are required for installation.
Sustained physical deterrence
The tamper-proof disk-style lock combined with superior materials delivers near-impenetrable protection during extended use. The cable maintains its strength and coiling behaviour over repeated stretch cycles without permanent deformation. The anchor remains firmly seated in the security slot even when the laptop is moved frequently.
