Slim NanoSaver 2.0 EQ combination lock

This Kensington K65090WW lock secures a notebook with a resettable four-wheel combination. It attaches to the device’s nano security slot and uses a 6 ft cable made of nylon and stainless steel. The mechanism is designed for portable computers that need a physical tether in shared or public spaces.

Build integration and cable reach

The 6 ft cable loops around a fixed anchor point such as a desk leg or security bar, freeing the notebook from permanent mounting hardware. No key management is required because the combination is user-resettable. The lock body fits the slim nano slot profile, so it does not add bulk that would interfere with adjacent ports or docking stations.

Suited for individual mobile workers.

Buyers who want a single, keyless lock for one laptop will find the resettable combination convenient. Teams needing keyed-alike sets, master-key oversight or simultaneous security for multiple devices should look at managed locking systems instead.

Questions about this item

How long is the 6 ft cable on the K65090WW Slim NanoSaver 2.0 EQ?

The lock includes a 6 ft cable made of nylon and stainless steel, giving roughly 1.8 metres of reach to anchor the notebook to a fixed object.

Does the combination lock generate any noise or heat during all-day use?

The mechanism is entirely mechanical with no powered parts, so it produces no audible noise and no measurable heat while securing the laptop.

What slot must the notebook already have for this lock to engage?

The lock is designed for the standard Kensington security slot found on most notebooks; the device must provide that slot for the lock to work.
