Kensington K65096WW security lock

Slim N17 2.0 combo lock

The Kensington K65096WW is a serialized combination lock built for ultra-thin laptops and 2-in-1 devices that use wedge-shaped N17 slots. It ships with a pre-set four-number code so it works straight from the box without any manual setup. The low-profile head and off-center cleat let the device sit flat and stable on a desk. Dell has tested and approved the design for its compatible systems.

One-handed attachment with pivoting head

A convenient slider enables single-handed locking while the omnidirectional pivoting head and rotating anchor position the cable at any angle. This keeps nearby ports accessible and makes locking or unlocking simple from any orientation. The 1.8 m carbon-steel cable resists cutting and provides ample reach to anchor points such as desk legs or table frames. Independent verification covers torque, pull, foreign implements, lock lifecycle and corrosion resistance.

Users who need a ready-to-use cable lock for N17

Buyers who want a preset combination, a low-profile head that keeps thin laptops level, and a verified cut-resistant cable will find this model suitable. It is not for devices that lack a wedge-shaped N17 slot or for anyone who prefers a keyed lock instead of a combination mechanism. The free Register & Retrieve service helps recover a forgotten code.
