Desktop and Peripherals Locking Kit 2.0

The Kensington K67990US kit secures desktop equipment and peripherals with a single keyed lock. It is built for offices, schools or shared workspaces where multiple devices need simultaneous protection. The package provides a coordinated locking solution for compatible hardware slots.

10 mm lock head security

The 10 mm lock head delivers a strong physical barrier that resists tampering on even the thinnest compatible laptops. It maintains its holding force under sustained pull or pry attempts rather than yielding after a brief burst. This consistent resistance protects assets throughout extended unattended periods.

Questions about this item

Does the 10 mm lock head generate any noise or heat during continuous use?

The lock head is a purely mechanical component with no moving parts that produce sound or heat, so it remains silent and at ambient temperature all day.

What type of security slot must my device already have for the K67990US kit to work?

The kit requires a standard Kensington security slot on the laptop or desktop; without that slot the lock cannot be attached.
