A mouse pad with an adjustable gel wrist pillow and an anti-microbial surface

  • Customisable wrist height for neutral posture
  • Gel cushion reduces pressure during long sessions
  • Anti-microbial surface resists stains and odours
  • Non-skid base keeps pad stable on desk
  • SmartFit system matches support to your hand size

SmartFit height-adjustable wrist rest

The Kensington SmartFit mouse pad includes a gel-filled wrist pillow that can be raised or lowered to keep the wrist at a neutral angle during long sessions. A non-skid base keeps the pad firmly in place on any desk surface. The design suits office workers and home users who want ergonomic support without a separate wrist rest.

Anti-microbial surface and stable base

An anti-microbial coating resists stains and odours, keeping the pad fresh through daily use. The gel cushion stays cool to the touch and does not trap heat against the skin. The non-skid backing prevents sliding, so the mouse tracks consistently without the pad shifting under pressure.

Upgrade from flat pads or fixed rests

This pad replaces a basic flat mouse mat or a fixed-height wrist rest that cannot adapt to different users or desk heights. The adjustable pillow is worth the change when multiple people share a workstation or when a single user switches between sitting and standing positions. Buyers who need a larger mousing area or a hard low-friction surface should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I set the SmartFit height on the K55793AM mouse pad and what step do people skip?

Adjust the removable gel insert until your wrist sits at a neutral angle; the step most people skip is re-checking the height after the pad settles on the desk for a few minutes.

What part of the K55793AM will need replacing first and how can I tell?

The gel wrist pillow will compress permanently over time; replace it when the surface no longer springs back or the anti-microbial coating shows wear.

What limit appears first during long sessions with the K55793AM?

The gel pillow gradually loses its rebound, so wrist support softens and the neutral angle drifts after extended daily use.
