Kensington LD4650P Dual Video USB-C Dock with K-Fob Smart Lock

SKU CH-CCD8-G60TD

A USB-C dock delivering 60W charging, dual DisplayPort++ video up to 2560x1440, four USB-A ports, audio, gigabit Ethernet and a K-Fob electronic lock for 11-15 inch laptops

  • Charges laptops at 60 W via PD 3.0
  • Drives one 2560 x 1440 monitor or two 1920 x 1080 displays
  • Connects four USB-A devices plus gigabit Ethernet and audio
  • K-Fob smart lock secures 11–15 inch laptops to a fixed point
  • Replacement K-Fobs available if the original is lost

Docking and security combined

The Kensington LD4650P is a USB-C docking station that also secures 11 to 15 inch laptops with an electronic K-Fob lock. It suits professionals who need peripheral expansion and physical theft deterrence in one device. Windows PCs must provide a USB-C port that supports Power Delivery 3.0 and DisplayPort Alt mode for full operation.

Replaces separate dock and lock

This unit removes the need to carry a standalone docking station and a separate cable lock. The upgrade is worthwhile when a single USB-C connection must deliver 60W charging, dual video output, gigabit ethernet and four USB-A ports while simultaneously locking the chassis to a fixed anchor point.

Build integration requirements

The dock draws its upstream link and charging power from one USB-C port on the host, so that port must negotiate PD 3.0 and DisplayPort Alt mode. Two DisplayPort++ outputs drive a single 2560x1440 monitor or dual 1920x1080 displays at 60Hz. Two USB-A Gen 1 and two USB-A Gen 2 ports handle peripherals, while a combo audio jack and gigabit ethernet round out the I/O. The K-Fob tether loops around any immovable object and locks when the arms engage; replacement fobs are available if the original is lost.
