Purpose and Compatibility

The Kensington Locking Eyelet K67611WW is a security accessory designed to add a Kensington lock slot to laptops or desktop peripherals. It works as an add-on for Kensington desktop and peripheral locking kits with part numbers 64615 and 64424. The barrel cylinder rotates 360 degrees to provide cable routing flexibility. Installation is non-permanent and uses the supplied allen wrench.

Who Should Use This

This eyelet suits owners of compatible Kensington locking kits who need to secure a device that lacks a built-in security slot. It is not for users who want a complete lock-and-cable solution in one package, because no cable or lock is included. Buyers whose devices already have a standard Kensington slot do not need this adapter. It also does not fit proprietary or ultra-thin slot variants.

Key Specification

The deciding factor is whether your existing security kit matches the compatible part numbers 64615 or 64424. The eyelet attaches only to those specific Kensington desktop and peripheral locking kits. Verify your kit model before purchase, as other Kensington locks or third-party cables will not connect to this eyelet.
