Compact Trackball for Tight Desks

The Kensington Orbit K64327F is a wired optical trackball built for users who need precise cursor control without moving a mouse across the desk. Its ambidextrous shape suits both left and right-handed operators. The device connects instantly via USB and works with Mac OS, Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. Customisable two-button mapping is handled through Trackball Works software.

Low Heat Silent Operation

Optical tracking eliminates the mechanical rollers that collect dust, so the sensor runs cool and quiet during all-day use. Power is drawn directly from the USB port, keeping the system's overall power draw minimal. No batteries or external adapters are required, and there are no moving parts to generate audible noise.

Replaces Full-Size Mice Where Space Is Scarce

This trackball suits workstations, kiosks or home offices where desk area is limited and a traditional mouse cannot sweep freely. The stationary footprint stays fixed while the scroll ball handles vertical navigation. Buyers who need more programmable buttons or a wireless connection will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Kensington Orbit K64327F trackball and what step do people often miss?

Plug the USB cable into a port; the step many miss is installing Trackball Works software to customise the two buttons and scrolling behaviour.

What maintenance or replacement will the Kensington Orbit K64327F need over time?

Optical tracking means no ball cleaning is required; only the cable or buttons may eventually wear out with heavy daily use.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the Kensington Orbit K64327F?

The fixed two-button layout and scroll ball can feel restrictive for complex workflows that need extra programmable inputs.
